I’m no namby-pamby pinko-liberal tree-hugger but, as I did 40 years ago, I think this stuff is insane for the UK to be doing. Who the heck are we targeting (literally) with these WMDs. I’m not going to argue about breaching treaties and things like that – WE JUST CAN’T AFFORD IT.
Fine, I’m OK with nuclear-tipped cruise thingy’s, put them on planes or whatever but sneaky submarines – WE CAN’T AFFORD IT.
